Who are Teenage Cancer Trust?

Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist nurses, youth support teams and hospital units within the NHS to provide the very best care and support during treatment and beyond, making sure cancer doesn't stop young people living their lives.

Why should I support Teenage Cancer Trust?

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need.

How does the virtual gifts shop work?

Browse the shop for items, select the one you like and add to basket. With every gift you are making a donation to Teenage Cancer Trust. We'll then use your donation to help make sure every young person with cancer gets the best care and support.

What do I get in return?

When you purchase your gift, you receive a personalised digital e-card over email. We can send it directly to your chosen friend or family member, or simply enjoy it yourself. It's a great alternative when you're stuck for ideas on what to buy for Christmas!

Where does my money go?

When you buy a gift, you are donating to Teenage Cancer Trust who will use this money to provide services and support for young people with cancer across the UK. Every day young people are supported in our 28 units, where the gifts you see here are part of everyday life.

Is the card digital or print?

Digital. You can either get the ecard sent to yourself to print and share with the recipient. Or enter their e-mail address when you purchase, pick a date and we'll send it directly to them!

Can I schedule the delivery of the ecard?

Yes, when you add the ecard to your basket you'll have the option of selecting a date. The e-card will be sent to their inbox from 8am on your selected date.

Who am I buying the gift for?

By purchasing a virtual gift, you are donating to Teenage Cancer Trust, who will use the money to support young people with cancer across the UK.

Can I add Gift Aid?

Yes, the virtual gift is a way of donating to Teenage Cancer Trust, which means the gifts are eligible for Gift Aid if you are a UK tax payer.

What if I or the recipient doesn't receive their ecard?

The first thing to do is to check spam folders, but if you still have not received your ecard, please contact hello@teenagecancertrust.org. Please note our office hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm but we will be closed during the period of December 23rd - January 2nd.

What do you do with my data?

We will use your data to process, and to communicate with you about your purchase. At checkout, you have the option to opt-in to hearing more from Teenage Cancer Trust. We will only contact you again with information about work and different opportunities to support young people with cancer such as fundraising, events, volunteering, donating and campaigning, if you opt-in.

We will not contact the recipient of the gift, other than to deliver their ecard, unless they have opted-in to communications from us.
