Board games

Overview:
£15 could buy a board game for one of our wards – a welcome distraction from treatment, and a fun icebreaker to start new friendships between young people.

“My Youth Support Coordinator Angie would play chess and Connect 4 with me. It was a great technique because on the way into hospital I’d always be thinking about which game we’d play next, rather than my treatment.” - Lucas, diagnosed with a brain tumour
